The Amazing Things I Met When I Was Treating Parkinson’s Disease
I am a doctor over fifty years of medical experience, and since 2002, I have been specializing in the study and treatment of Parkinson’s disease. During this period, I have many surprising things: those who have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease by experts in major hospital and confirmed by PET-CT have shown pleasantly surprising and even shocking positive changes after treated with my symptomatic feedback therapy. Here are some cases, and I would like to state in advance: First, these cases are all true stories, and I can inform people the contact information of the protagonists of the cases at any time by phone, WeChat, or email; Second, why is there such a surprising change? I believe that people will naturally believe in the possibility of this change after reading my paper "Etiology and Treatment of Primary Parkinson’s Disease".
Case 1 Experience of a patient with severe Parkinson’s disease turning to safety
GAO ※, female, born in 1972, lives in Huangcun Town, Daxing District, Beijing. She graduated from a medical university and used to be a doctor in the radiology department of a hospital. She contacted me in November 2024 because of Parkinsonism-Plus syndrome. I carefully read her medical records and found that her PET-CT examination results showed that the distribution of dopamine transporters in the examined parts was severely reduced. After suffering from this disease, she has been treated frequently in Beijing 301 Hospital, xuanwu hospital, Tiantan Hospital, Peking University First Hospital, Aerospace Hospital, Sanbo Brain Hospital of Capital Medical University, yuquan hospital and other major hospitals in recent years, but her condition is getting worse and worse, and she is facing the danger of paralysis. Considering that I have some experience in the treatment of Parkinsonism-Plus syndrome, I decided to help her. With my consent, she came to me on January 5, 2025 under the escort of her family. After meeting, I found that she had three major problems: First, she fell frequently, and her family said that she had fallen countless times, which led to the fracture of her right foot and the fracture of her coccyx, causing multiple injuries all over her body; The second is severe trembling, and the muscle tension in many parts of the whole body is obviously high. The third is that the voice is vague and the voice is particularly small when speaking. So I treated her with medicine, acupuncture for her at the same time, and needle after needle was inserted into her body. After my treatment, the wrestling problem basically disappeared after about a week, the trembling of her legs gradually eased, the abnormal muscle tension of her body was obviously alleviated, and the problem of vague speech and small voice improved after about ten days. The first course of treatment lasted for 15 days. She returned to Beijing for the Spring Festival because of her remission. Until February 11, 2025, she came to me again to receive my symptomatic feedback treatment, which lasted for 48 days. After this treatment, her athletic ability has changed surprisingly. It only takes more than two hours for her to walk for ten kilometers at a time on the road with clear signs. This kind of walking is usually twice a day.
Looking back now, I am proud that my symptomatic feedback therapy can make a change in a patient who was seriously ill and had frequent falls.
Case 2 Another patient with severe Parkinson’s disease turned to safety.
SONG※※, female, born in 1969, lives in Haidian District, Beijing and is a software engineer. In October 2015, she first developed symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, and was later diagnosed as Parkinson’s disease by experts in large hospitals. Her PET-CT examination results showed that the distribution of dopamine transporters in the tested parts decreased. In the past ten years, although the hospital has tried everything for her and used all kinds of drugs to treat Parkinson’s disease, her condition is getting worse. Her limb tremor, which lasts for several hours every day, is getting more and more severe, which causes waist pain, mental tension and anxiety. Because she can’t keep her balance when shaking, she can only lie in bed most of the day. When she goes out, she needs a wheelchair and nursing staff to accompany her. In unbearable pain, she came to me for treatment on March 18th, 2015 under the escort of her husband and professional nurses. After meeting, I found that her main problem was high muscle tension in many parts of her body, and she often had severe convulsions of her limbs. She said that so far, no one and no way can stop her severe convulsions.
I sympathize with her and treat her seriously. I found that my symptomatic feedback therapy is obviously effective for her, which can curb her violent tremor, and at the same time, her slight tremor has a tendency to gradually disappear. After more than two months of treatment, she has undergone three major changes: first, her illness has obviously eased; second, she can take care of herself in her daily life (thus dismissing the well-paid nursing staff); and third, she can go out and walk for several kilometers alone.
A few days ago, she wrote in the WeChat sent to me: "Hello, Dr. Gan, your superb medical skills have alleviated a lot of pain for me. Thank you very much!"
Case 3 A dramatic change in the condition of a severe Parkinson’s patient
CHEN※※, male, born in 1968, lives in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi, China Province, and is a grassroots cadre. In 2013, he developed stiffness in his left limb, which later spread to his right limb. He was initially diagnosed as primary Parkinson’s disease by a local municipal hospital. In July 2015, he was diagnosed as primary Parkinson’s disease by experts from China Air Force General Hospital and Beijing xuanwu hospital. In November 2015, Mr. Chen was escorted by several relatives to my place of residence for treatment because of his serious illness. After arriving, his brother-in-law took me aside and told me quietly: The patient has been stiff all over recently, and his condition is quite serious. He tried to commit suicide many times. Today, several people carried him to the car and sent him to you.
I carefully examined Mr. Chen’s body and felt that his Parkinson’s disease was really serious, so I decided to treat him immediately. I took a sterilized needle out of my acupuncture bag and stabbed it into a specific part of Mr. Chen’s body. After about ten minutes, he suddenly felt the symptoms disappear, his stiff body gradually loosened, and then he felt comfortable. He stood up unexpectedly and said, "Oh, much better! I feel much better! " I saw him become so relaxed, so I took out a basketball from the room and said to Mr. Chen, "Shall we play basketball?" He responded to me happily. When Mr. Chen took the ball and walked with me to the stadium, his relatives looked at each other one by one, suspecting that they were dreaming. Their expressions changed from anxiety at the beginning to surprise, and they followed us closely. When they saw Mr. Chen’s energetic posture on the stadium, their surprised expressions disappeared and they smiled one by one. That night, they specially invited me and my family to the hotel for dinner. Mr. Chen talked and laughed at the banquet. Everyone toasted each other and drank one cup after another. The next day, Mr. Chen’s relatives went home happily, and I let Mr. Chen stay in my house for a while. In the meantime, he insisted on exercise therapy according to my requirements, and everything was normal.
Mr. Chen is sincere and talented. After he came home, I lost contact with him because I was busy with some affairs. Later, someone told me that Mr. Chen went to Beijing and sought medical treatment for the recurrence of Parkinson’s disease for some time. During the treatment, he used some drugs in large doses, which made his condition worse. I felt sad and regretted that I didn’t care enough about him.
